APAC Head of HR

ROLE

  1. Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.
  2. Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc.
  3. Oversee HR initiatives, systems and tactics
  4. Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance
  5. Serve as the point of contact for employment relations
  6. Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
  7. Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
  8. Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics
  9. Lead organization design and hiring standards
  10. Work with managed to launch and lead recruitment activities
  11. Implement functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations
  12. Oversee our payroll and performance evaluation systems
  13. Design company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

– Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communications skills
– Experience working remotely in a multicultural environment
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken; including ability and experience in engaging and managing multi-cultural stakeholders across all levels of seniority internally and externally
– 4+ years of work experience as a Head of HR Operations or similar role
– Experience with Human Resources Information Systems including payroll tools and international remote worker management services
– Experience in designing compensation and benefits programs
– Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
– Detail-oriented and accountability with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems
– Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously
– Excellent organizational and leadership skills
– Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
– Belief that teams succeed more when they work together and mutual respect with your coworkers
– Strong video conference presence and experience engaging in a number of online meetings per day
– BSc in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience 

Desirable Experience and Skills :

  • Relevant training and/or certifications in HR Management
  • Experience working in a technology startup environment
